Kyivenergo (KIEN)
Kyivenergo (KIEN) is a unique Ukrainian power company, engaged in both production and distribution. KIEN manages two CHPs with a total capacity of 1.2 GW, which are actually the property of Kyiv City Council. KIEN is Ukraine’s largest heat producer and distributor; with a production capacity of 8,408 GCal/h (over half of Ukraine’s output). KIEN owns 10,930 km of electricity transmission lines and 890 km of heat transmission lines.
