Sumy NVO n.a. Frunze (SMASH)
Sumy NVO n.a. Frunze (SMASH) produces a broad range of equipment for the oil, gas and chemicals industries. This includes centrifuges, compressors, gas turbines, pumps, and gas pipeline valves, as well as oil well equipment. The company's order book was negatively affected by declining equipment deliveries to Gazprom, which was partially compensated for by more active participation of SMASH in oil and gas projects in Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan. The domestic market may also help offset these losses in SMASH’s order book, when a $4.5 bln project to overhaul Ukraine’s gas transportation system obtains the necessary financing.
