Alfa Capital, Ltd. is a member of Alfa Group Consortium, one of the largest private financial-industrial conglomerates in Russia. Alfa Capital Management is the Group’s asset management arm, whose clients include Russian as well as international institutional and private clients. Alfa Capital Partners is the Group's private equity and real estate investment arm, which specializes in investing into dynamic emerging markets in Russia, Ukraine and other CIS countries. Alfa Group is also the owner of AlfaStrakhovanie Insurance Group, one of the largest non-obligatory insurance companies in Russia.
Alfa Group, together with Access Industries/Renova, holds a 50% stake in TNK-BP, Russia’s third-largest vertically integrated oil company (in terms of production). TNK-BP operates five refineries in Russia and Ukraine and nearly 2,000 filling stations across the two countries.

The Group, through Altimo, has considerable holdings in telecommunications providers, such as VimpelCom (traded on the NYSE, ticker: VIP), MegaFon and Kyivstar, a leading cellular provider in Ukraine. Also through Altimo, the Group invests in the integrated telephone and Internet service provider Golden Telecom (traded on NASDAQ, ticker: GLDN) and Turkcell, a leading Turkish GSM operator, which is traded on the NYSE and Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB).

Alfa Group’s other interests include X5 Retail Group N.V., which is traded on the LSE (ticker: FIVE) and holds Pyaterochka Holding N.V. (one of the largest discount grocery retailers in Russia in terms of sales) and Perekrestok (one of the largest supermarket chains in Russia). The Group is also involved in a joint venture between A1 and Diageo Plc that includes Smirnov Trade House, a world vodka producer, and Russian Technologies, a company focusing on the research and development of promising technologies.
